The international workshop involving architecture students from Poland - CUT Krakow, The Netherlands – TU Delft and Germany - HAWK Hildesheim will be held from 19 September to 3 October. The workshop is planned as the first stage of a project titled 'Facing Impact of the Second World War: Urban Design in Contemporary European Cities'. The project is financed through Erasmus Intensive Program 2009.

The initial idea of the Oswiecim course was brought by Barbara Starzynska and Hans Citroen, outside experts, promoting the city for many years.
